Guest Lecturer

The Department of Biotechnology conducted a Guest lecture on 26^th July, 2018 at Seminar hall, Hindustan College of Arts & Science. The Welcome address was given by Dr. S. Illanjiam, Dean, School of Life Sciences and honored the Chief guest, Dr. Pattanathu. K. A. S. Rahman (University of TEESSIDE, UK). The Chief Guest was introduced by Dr. Elizabeth Rani Junieus, Head of Department, Biotechnology. The Felicitation address was given by Dr. S.Thirumagan, Principal, Hindustan College of Arts & Science. The Chief guest,                      Dr. Pattanathu. K. A. S. Rahman delivered an elaborated lecture on “Biosurfactants and Bioemulsification”. He also gave Research ideas on Bioproducts, Crude oil extraction, Cosmetic products from Aloe vera,  Future endeavours on Business and Marketing in various products related to Biotechnology and gave ideas regarding future goals for the students in the Biotechnology field and discussed about the approach to future education in abroad. Finally, the Vote of thanks was given by Dr. L. Krishnasamy, Assistant professor, Department of Biotechnology, Hindustan college of Arts & Science.
